Jakarta Floods

Over the last several days, the city of Jakarta has experienced terrible flooding.

Because the city of Jakarta is mostly below sea level, residents face flooding every rainy season.

However this year the flooding is especially terrible, displacing as many as 400,000 residents.

For a sense of what these people are experiencing, look at the excellent slideshow put together by the International Herald Tribune here.

Pray for the city of Jakarta.
